About Us

The Bulgarian National Association for Sustainable Development FAIR CHANCE is registered in 2002. It is a national network of the first municipalities and regions in Bulgaria following the principles of sustainable development.

Brief information on the mission of FAIR CHANCE Association:

1. Advertising the principles of sustainable development and multiplication of good practices in this field;

2. Expertise support in the development of municipal and regional strategies for sustainable development;

3. Promoting municipal and territorial cooperation through implementation of joint projects for development;

4. Elaboration and implementation of projects and programmes for development of civil society, social integration and personal realization, environment protection, sustainable tourism, organic agriculture, small and medium enterprises, publi-private partnerships;

FAIR CHANCE is a member and partner of the European Partnership for Rural Europe PREPARE, International Rural Network, and the International Network for Preserving the Cultural Heritage. As of now the Assoication and its members implemented more than 10 projects and initiatives, financed and supported by donor organizations and European funds.
